Your Questions, Answered!
Welcome to the FAQ page for Marvellous Marvin’s Fur Baby Art, I’m so glad you’re here.
Here you’ll find answers to the questions I’m most often asked about my bespoke portraits and creative process.
Whether you’re wondering about payment, timeframes, or what makes each piece unique, you’ll find everything you need to know right here.
My goal is to make your experience simple, personal, and filled with care, from our first conversation to the moment your portrait arrives at your door.
Can you work from any photo?
The better the photo, the more detail I can capture. Don’t worry if it’s not perfect, I’ll guide you on choosing the best image and can often work with less-than-ideal photos.
Can you include more than one fur baby in a portrait?
Each portrait is created to honour the unique personality and soul essence of a single fur baby. For this reason, I only include one in each piece, it allows me to give my full attention to capturing their spirit in a truly meaningful way.
Will I see the portrait before it’s printed?
Yes, I’ll send you a digital proof to make sure you’re happy before it goes to print.
What framing options are available?
Every portrait is printed on high-quality aluminium, presented in a black oak frame. All portraits are created in a square format.
Do you offer installation advice?
Yes, each frame comes with a hanging guide from my professional framers, so it’s easy to display your piece with confidence.
Is shipping included?
Yes, UK shipping is included in the price. For international delivery, please contact me for a personalised quote.
Can I pay in instalments?
I don’t currently offer instalments, but you’re welcome to pay securely by credit card or bank transfer.
How long does it take to complete a commission?
On average, around 4 weeks. At busy times (such as Christmas), this may take a little longer, so please order early if you have a special date in mind.
Can I return a commission?
Because each piece is bespoke and created just for you, commissions are non-returnable
